Carpet cleaning in Granada
Cotton rugs and flat-woven kilims are light and look easy, but on a rug cleaning in Granada they are among the ones that spring the most surprises. They have no pile to hide dirt, they shrink if they get too wet and their colours, often bright, can run.
What is included
- A colour test on every shade before any moisture goes on
- Cleaning on both faces, since a flat weave is reversible
- Low moisture so the cotton does not shrink
- Flat drying so it does not distort or ripple
- An honest view on whether the rug can go in a washing machine
How we do it
We test each colour first with a damp cloth, because on a kilim a red that runs stains all the pale weave around it. If the colours hold, we clean with little moisture on one face and then the other, and leave the rug fully spread out so it dries flat and keeps its size.
What you get
Whoever comes is trained, insured and vetted, brings the equipment and uses eco-friendly products, safe around children or animals. If the colour test goes badly, we tell you before going on and do not force a wet treatment. You also have 48 hours to raise any detail of the result with us.
