Upholstery cleaning in Granada
A living room with a chenille sofa, a velvet armchair and linen chairs holds three fabrics that are not cleaned the same way, and that is the first thing we look at in an upholstery cleaning in Granada. Identifying each fabric and testing the colour before starting stops a piece shrinking, bleeding dye or changing texture.
What is included
- Reading the care label on every piece of furniture
- A colour test on a hidden spot of each different fabric
- A dry method for fabrics that do not tolerate water
- Brushing the pile on velvet and chenille when we finish
- A clear warning if a piece cannot be cleaned without risk
How we do it
We look for the label with the cleaning code, which says whether the fabric takes water, solvent or vacuuming only. Then we dampen a hidden spot and press it with a white cloth: if dye comes off, that piece gets another method or is left alone, and you know before we touch the visible part.
What you get
Whoever comes is trained to recognise fabrics and carries different products for each, not one for everything. They are insured and vetted, and if you notice anything odd about a fabric after the clean you have 48 hours to tell us and we look at it again.
