Upholstery cleaning prices

Upholstery and sofa cleaning prices: it depends on several factors.

We do not give fixed prices because every sofa is different. Here we explain what factors affect the price and why a personalised quote is the only honest way to give you a number.

The problem

Why you cannot compare upholstery cleaning prices like mobile phone plans

Many websites publish generic prices like "from…". The problem is that a two-seater cotton sofa with a coffee stain does not cost the same as a velvet chaise longue with pet stains and years without cleaning. Generic prices are either misleadingly low or come with fine print.

The type of fabric completely changes the method and working time
A recent stain is treated differently from one that has been set for months
A sofa with feather filling needs more care than one with foam
The number of seats and modules directly affects time and cost
How it works

How we calculate your quote

A transparent process so you know exactly what you are paying for and why.

1

Tell us what you need

Photos of the sofa or upholstery, type of stains, number of pieces. With that, we prepare an initial estimate. No commitment.

2

On-site assessment

When we arrive, we check the fabric type, the actual condition of the stains, and whether there are odours or damage requiring extra treatment. If the price changes, we tell you before we start.

3

Fixed price before we start

We never begin without your approval of the final price. If our inspection reveals something different from the initial estimate, we explain why and you decide.

What other websites will not tell you

Not all stains are removed 100%. An old ink stain on a light-coloured fabric sofa can improve significantly but may not disappear completely. The same goes for burns or discolouration. We always tell you what we can realistically achieve before starting, so you can decide with real information.

Pricing

What factors affect the price

We do not publish fixed rates because it would give you a number that does not match your situation. These are the real factors that determine the cost:

Number of seats or modules
Fabric type: cotton, linen, velvet, microfibre, leather, faux leather
Type and age of the stains
Presence of absorbed odours (pet, smoke, damp)
Overall furniture condition and prior cleaning frequency
Need for stain protection or waterproofing treatment
Accessibility (floor without lift, distance, parking)

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about prices

Why do you not publish fixed prices?
Because a fixed price would be inaccurate. A two-seater microfibre sofa with a light stain does not cost the same as a linen chaise longue with set-in stains. We prefer to give you a real price based on your specific case.
Is there a charge for the quote?
No. You send us photos and a description, and we give you a no-obligation estimate. If something changes when we arrive, we let you know before touching the sofa.
Is it worth cleaning an old sofa, or should I buy a new one?
It depends on the condition of the frame and fabric. If the padding is collapsed or the fabric is falling apart, cleaning will not fix that. But if the structure is sound and the issue is stains or odours, professional cleaning is usually much cheaper than buying new.
Does the price include stain protection?
Not by default. Stain protection is an additional service that we especially recommend if you have children or pets. We give you the price separately so you can decide.
Is it cheaper to clean multiple pieces at once?
Yes. If you clean a sofa, armchairs, and mattresses in the same visit, the price per piece is usually lower because travel and equipment setup costs are shared.
How long does the sofa take to dry after cleaning?
Usually between 4 and 8 hours, depending on the fabric, ventilation, and ambient humidity. Thicker fabrics or winter conditions may take a bit longer.
